Are you following up with your online visitors?
I read something about two months ago and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.
I was reading a marketing book and the author said: “If someone walked into your store and met with a salesperson and the salesperson didn’t follow up with that prospect, you would fire him.”
However, every day you have hundreds if not thousands of people visit your website and there is no follow up.
An interested prospect came to your online store, shopped around and then left and you never followed up with them once. Is that sobering?
In the age that we live in, your website talks to more prospects than any salesperson ever will.
You need to have a strategy in place to communicate with these people that come to your website.
