🎯 Facebook & Instagram Retargeting · Home Service Contractors

Facebook and Instagram Retargeting That Brings Homeowners Back.

Plenty of homeowners visit your website and leave without calling. The kids got loud, the phone buzzed, or they're still comparing. I run Facebook and Instagram ads shown only to people who already visited your site, so you're the name they remember when they're ready. No daily posting. Just ads to warm traffic.

What Retargeting Is

Paid Social Retargeting, in Plain English.

Here's how it works. A tracking pixel from Meta goes on your website. When a homeowner visits, Meta adds them to an audience. Then I run Facebook and Instagram ads shown only to that audience, so the people who already looked at your site see your business again while they're scrolling.

Someone who read your AC repair page sees an AC repair ad, not a generic "like our page" post. I'm Nick Beecher, I run Brands That Last out of Eustis, Florida, and I only work with home service contractors. For me, paid social means one thing: ads to warm traffic that bring people back to call you.

Sound Familiar?

Why Most Contractor Facebook Ads Don't Work.

A lot of contractors who say "Facebook doesn't work for us" tried one of these. None of them are retargeting.

❌

Boosting posts and hoping

A boosted post shows your content to people who've never heard of you and aren't shopping. It feels like marketing. It rarely puts a job on the schedule.

❌

Posting every day

Daily posting eats hours you don't have, and a lot of your followers never see it. I don't do it. I'd rather put your budget in front of people who already visited your site.

❌

The same ad for months

Show the same image to the same people long enough and they stop seeing it. Ads need fresh photos and offers to keep working.

❌

Letting Facebook grade its own homework

Meta's reports will happily take credit for a lead. If your calls and forms aren't tracked on their own, you can't tell what the ads actually did.

Retargeting doesn't create demand. It keeps you in front of the demand you already paid for, until they're ready to call.

What's Included

How I Run Facebook and Instagram Retargeting.

Everything is built around people who already know your name. No cold audiences, no organic posting, no vanity metrics.

🧩

Pixel and Tracking Setup

I install the Meta Pixel and test it, then track your calls and forms on their own so Meta isn't the only one keeping score. Here's how I set up lead tracking for contractors.

Audiences From Your Website

Audiences built from your own site visitors, grouped by the service pages they looked at. People who already filled out a form get left out, so you're not paying to chase a customer you already have.

Ads With Your Real Work

Your job photos, your crew, your reviews and your current offers, like manufacturer financing when you have it. Real work beats stock images every time. If your site needs better photos first, that's part of my website design work.

Your Account, Your Card

The ad account and the pixel are in your business's name, and the ad spend bills to your card. You own all of it.

Tied to Your Search Marketing

Retargeting works best behind Google Ads, Local Services Ads and local SEO. They bring people to your site. Retargeting brings them back.

No Vanity Reports

How I Measure Retargeting.

I don't report likes, shares or reach. I look at real calls and forms from retargeting, tracked outside of Meta, and what each one cost. If you want to see how I think about that math, here's my post on cost per lead for home services.

I'll be straight with you: retargeting is a support channel. It won't fill your schedule on its own, because it can only reach people who already found your website. If your site doesn't get much traffic yet, I'll tell you, and we'll start with the channels that bring people in.

Works With the Rest of Your Marketing

One Plan, Not Another Vendor.

I run retargeting as part of the same plan as your search marketing, with the same tracking and the same person watching it. That's me. See how the pieces fit together on my home services marketing page, or if you're in Lake County, my page for contractors in Eustis, FL.

Common Questions

Things You're Probably Asking.

What's the difference between retargeting and boosting a post?
Boosting usually shows a post to a broad group of people who've never heard of you. Retargeting shows ads only to people who already visited your website. They know your name, and they were already shopping for what you do.
Do you post on my Facebook page?
No. I don't do daily organic posting. Your money goes into ads shown to people who already visited your site, not into a content calendar.
Do I need a lot of website traffic for this to work?
A retargeting audience can only be as big as your website traffic. If not many people visit your site yet, I'll tell you, and we'll fix that first with Google Ads, Local Services Ads or local SEO.
Who owns the ad account?
You do. The ad account and the pixel are set up in your business's name, and the ad spend bills to your card. If we ever part ways, you keep all of it.
How do I know if it's working?
Leads get tracked outside of Meta, so you see real calls and forms by source, not just what Facebook says it did. Here's how I set up lead tracking for contractors.
Does this work alongside Google Ads?
Yes, and that's where it works best. Google Ads brings people to your site when they're searching. Retargeting keeps you in front of the ones who didn't call yet.
Do I have to sign a contract?
There's a 3-month starting commitment, then month to month.
